Wisconsin Adoption Events Coordinator
Matthew grew up surrounded by domestic and feral animals in rural Southern Wisconsin. While he grew up with house cats, he always had a soft spot for the stray dogs that were dumped in the nearby woods. After going to college, working as a professional musician then going back to school for engineering he settled down with his wife, Sharon. It was then that they took in their first rescue dog, Radar (Akita/Malamute/Shepherd mix). Radar was nick-named “Frankenstein’s Dog” for his huge size and terrible injuries that resulted in facial reconstruction (he was such a pretty monster!). Soon they took in their second rescue dog, Mocha (Belgian Shepherd Tervuren) who was deemed unadoptable at the time, but is now a perfect family member. After Radar passed they took in their third rescue dog, Walker (pit bull mix) who is the best cuddle buddy ever. It was then that the Page’s found Coco’s Heart and dedicated themselves to the mission of this wonderful organization. When not working on his cars, playing music, designing and building high-end loudspeaker systems or spoiling Coco’s dogs you’ll find them advocating for pit bulls.
